Fabric has always been an enjoyable medium for my creative expression. Years of sewing for personal enjoyment, combined with a sophisticated sense of creativity, make me well suited to work on custom projects.
I know the importance of doing things well and paying attention to detail. I have a wealth of experience working in high profile places, spending a combined total of eight years on staff in the Senate and at the White House.
I often take the ordinary and make them extraordinary in a way that is personal and meaningful for the recipient. This includes turning ordinary souvenir cloth placemats into sophisticated decorative pillows, customizing quilt patterns or making a box-pleated shower curtain. In early 2005, this
experience led to me being asked to sew a cover for the Bush family Bible used at the Inaugural ceremony. I take pride in bringing the same sense of detail to every project.
